Concerns that AI (artificial intelligence) will take away people's jobs have been around for some time. As early as 2023, AI began taking over certain positions, and this trend is expected to continue in the years ahead. However, there are still professions which remain resistant to automation and whose core function relies on human interaction. What are these positions? Here are seven of them.
A study by Eskimoz, cited by Forbes, assessed the resilience of various professions to AI based on two criteria: the necessity of human interaction and the likelihood of automation. The more a job depends on the human factor and the lower the probability of AI replacing it, the higher its AI resistance score. Based on these criteria, the study identified the following seven positions which artificial intelligence is unlikely to replace in the near future.
Lawyers
The legal profession is largely based on human interaction. It also involves complex legal decision-making and a human-centered approach to analysing laws and case law. These are precisely the aspects that artificial intelligence has not yet been able fully to replicate.
Healthcare professionals
More than 89% of the tasks performed by doctors, nurses, medical staff and non-medical personnel in hospitals and clinics involve direct human interaction.
HR managers
Empathy, interpersonal communication and decision-making which takes into account the human dimension of problems: these are things AI simply cannot do, yet they are vital to the work of HR professionals.
Operations managers
Restaurants, hotels, and even factories all rely on operations managers. More than 80% of their work involves direct interaction with people, which is why they do not have to fear AI taking over their roles.
Team leaders
The ability to manage teams and address human challenges is difficult to automate. Moreover, people will not want to be managed by machines. For this reason, team leaders need not worry too much about their job security.
Teachers, lecturers and education specialists
Although artificial intelligence can assist in education, human interaction remains a key and irreplaceable element of the learning process.
Architects
Architects combine creativity, technical thinking and collaboration with people. While AI may already be capable of handling the technical aspects of this profession, it still lacks the ability to be truly creative and interact effectively with clients and colleagues.

Studie společnosti Eskimoz, kterou cituje Forbes, hodnotila odolnost různých profesí vůči AI podle dvou kritérií: nutnosti lidské interakce a pravděpodobnosti automatizace. Čím více je daná práce závislá na lidském faktoru a čím menší je šance, že ji AI nahradí, tím vyšší skóre odolnosti proti AI získala. Tato studie pak na základě těchto kritérií přišla s následujícím seznamem sedmi pozic, které umělá inteligence v dohledné době nahrazovat nebude.
Právníci
„Právničina“ je z velké části o lidské interakci. Navíc zahrnuje složité právní rozhodování a lidský přístup k analýze zákonů i judikatury. A právě to jsou věci, které umělá inteligence zatím nedokáže plně zastoupit.
Pracovníci ve zdravotnictví
Přes 89 % činností doktorů, zdravotníků, sester a nezdravotnického personálu v nemocnicích a na klinikách zahrnuje kontakt s lidmi.
HR manažeři
Empatie, mezilidská komunikace, rozhodování s přihlédnutím k lidské rovině problémů. To jsou věci, které AI zkrátka neumí, ale na kterých stojí práce personalistů.
Provozní manažeři
Restaurace, hotely, ale třeba i továrny. Všechny tyto prostory by se bez provozních manažerů neobešly – a přítom více než 80 % jejich práce zahrnuje přímou interakci s lidmi. Právě proto se provozní manažeři AI bát nemusí.
Vedoucí týmů
Schopnost řídit týmy a řešit lidské problémy je těžko automatizovatelná. A lidé se nebudou chtít nechat řídit stroji. Proto se ani týmoví vedoucí nemusí o svá místa příliš bát.
Učitelé, lektoři a specialisté na vzdělávání
I když může umělá inteligence ve vzdělávání pomoci, lidská interakce zůstává v procesu učení stále klíčová a nezastupitelná.
Architekti
Architekti kombinují kreativitu, technické myšlení a práci s lidmi. A i když by technickou stránku tohoto oboru AI pravděpodobně již obstojně zvládla, kreativita a interakce s lidmi ji zkrátka nejde.
