Ludvík Dvořák, HR Manager, YAPP CZECH AUTOMOTIVE SYSTEMS Co., s.r.o.

Knowledge management on the personal level is exploring ways to ensure the growth of each individual and to start the learning process for him, but also overlaps into technology and process management in the company, which are topics that are being more commonly associated with knowledge management on the company-wide level.

When analyzing workers and creating a plan for their education and a transfer of experience, several different strategies can be applied. Ludvík Dvořák, HR Manager at YAPP CZECH AUTOMOTIVE SYSTEMS Co., described two of these strategies in his article on HRNews.cz. The strategies are: the Push Strategy and the Pull Strategy.

The Push Strategy supports individuals in releasing and storing their knowledge in a common repository as well as in mining the knowledge and working with the knowledge put into the repository by others. The Pull Strategy teaches individuals to look for knowledge themselves - from experts.
