Survey: Women negotiate less over salaries

The difference between the incomes of men and women is a long-term one. Although the gap between the income of the two sexes has started to close a little in recent years, it remains the case that in the Czech Republic, like elsewhere, women earn significantly less than men. A recent survey shows this is not only because the vast majority of women go on maternity leave and thus do not have the possibility to build their career systematically; women also negotiate less over their salary.
