Direct managers play a key role in engaging their employees. If they are not engaged themselves, they form a kind of a rigid workplace that not only do not evolve but also spoils the lives of employees. Engaged manager actively helps to ensure that his people have everything needed for successful performance of their jobs and that they are able to work effectively as a team.
